Our History

The KOM CPC was founded in the late 1990s by Oakridge residents concerned about rising crime and a lack of visible community policing. After two years of collaboration with the Vancouver Police Department, the organization was incorporated as a non-profit society in February 2000. In 2006, growing community needs led to a move to our current location in Kerrisdale at 45th and East Boulevard.

Today, KOM CPC serves District 4 with over 200 active volunteer members who reflect the diverse communities of Kerrisdale, Oakridge, and Marpole.

In Collaboration With

Board of Directors

KOMCPC is led by a dedicated board of directors and supported by a passionate staff team who work together to guide the organization's vision, programs, and day-to-day operations.

Our board members are community-minded individuals who bring a wealth of experience in public safety, community development, and organizational leadership. They provide the strategic direction and oversight that ensures KOMCPC continues to serve the Kerrisdale, Oakridge, and Marpole communities with integrity and purpose.
