Our History
Paragraph: The KOM CPC was founded in the late 1990s by Oakridge residents concerned about rising crime and a lack of visible community policing. After two years of collaboration with the Vancouver Police Department, the organization was incorporated as a non-profit society in February 2000. In 2006, growing community needs led to a move to our current location in Kerrisdale at 45th and East Boulevard.
Today, KOM CPC serves District 4 with over 100 active volunteer members who reflect the diverse communities of Kerrisdale, Oakridge, and Marpole.
