Volunteering
Volunteers are the heart of our organization. Without the dedication of our volunteers, we would not be able to launch the programs and projects that we have running out of our office. Our volunteers currently come from all over the lower mainland and with many different backgrounds but all share a common desire to make our community a safer and better place to live and work.
We strive to match volunteers interests with the needs of the organization and the community and have on-going opportunties for volunteers to particpate in various programs. As we are a non-profit organization there are also opportunities for volunteers and community members to sit on the Board of Directors.
In order to become a volunteer with us, you must:
- be at least 19 years of age
- consent to and pass a criminal records check
- be able to commit to a minimum of 2 hours a week or 8 hours a month
If you are interested in becoming part of the team or simply want to know more about volunteering at our cente, please come in to the office, speak to our coordinator, Tony Bulic, and complete the application form.
